To mark the club's 125th anniversary in 2008, Coventry City Football Club asked Nick Job to create a new crest for the team kit and all other promotional merchandise and branded materials. The badge represents a respectful evolution of the popular and iconic club badge from the 1970s. The club's commercial director, Ken Sharp, explains, 'The aim was to bring our crest into the 21st Century to reflect our ambitions, without losing any of the considerable heritage or sentiment of the current badge.'
